Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1966 MG (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Wesley W, owner of a 1965 MG from Colfax, CA

Great durable exact match product.

Robert H, owner of a 1951 MG from Jackson, GA

Actually, the paint was for a 1951 mg td that was painted with the '71 chevy color in 1995. Touchup from you matched fine. The paint used in '75 was lacquer. I did not want the paint to bubble, so i used your base coat and topped with clear lacquer ( which is still available). I compounded and buffed to match.

Marc M, owner of a 1964 MG from Enon, OH

I have used Automotive Touchup paint for the past 7 years. Made the mistake of buying OEM touchup paint when I bought my daughter a car, and remembered why I switched to ATU! It goes on very smoothly, and the applicators don't drip/glob the paint on. Recently I used it to touch up the play field on our pinball machines, works very well for them as well. They really do make a superior product, I will not use anything else.
