Restore Your 1999 Mini (All Models) Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Mini's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Mini (All Models) using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code can be found on the strut tower, normally the driver side. Click here for a Mini paint code location diagram and label example.

Please note: The 'All Models' pages sometimes have a large amount of results to scroll through, if your vehicle's model is in the list of options on the prior screen we recommend trying that first.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Mini (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jacob C, owner of a 2014 Mini Cooper Paceman from Dayton, OH

Paint matches perfectly! You can't even tell there were any scratches if you don't know where to look.

Happy customer, owner of a 2009 Mini John Coop Works from Albuquerque, NM

Color match was spot on. I was very surprised. Product usage instruction were vary precise and made the project very doable. Very happy with the results.

David L, owner of a 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible from Potomac, MD

I bought a 2006 Mini Cooper Convertible that my daughter REALLY had to have and sure enough, it quickly developed rust spots under the rear tail lights. I fixed those and used the color-matched spray paint from Automotive Touchup to do the repainting in my garage and the match is fantastic. It is extremely hard to tell which panel is not original paint. I used a 2K Gray Epoxy Primer, the color coat from Automotive Touchup and the 2K Gloss clear coat they sell (and wore my respirator!). I'm very pleased with how it came out. Take your time. Do your sanding. This is a great (and cheap!) way to do basic body work at home.
