Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Dean V, owner of a 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible from Morehead City, NC

I got the touch up paint right away. It is good to have on hand for those little scratches that occur from time to time. I always have paint on hand for all my vehicles.

Richard R, owner of a 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible from Palm Springs, CA

It has been almost a month since my order....still no product!

David L, owner of a 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible from Potomac, MD

I bought a 2006 Mini Cooper Convertible that my daughter REALLY had to have and sure enough, it quickly developed rust spots under the rear tail lights. I fixed those and used the color-matched spray paint from Automotive Touchup to do the repainting in my garage and the match is fantastic. It is extremely hard to tell which panel is not original paint. I used a 2K Gray Epoxy Primer, the color coat from Automotive Touchup and the 2K Gloss clear coat they sell (and wore my respirator!). I'm very pleased with how it came out. Take your time. Do your sanding. This is a great (and cheap!) way to do basic body work at home.
