Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Mitsubishi Raider is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Robert D, owner of a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero from Winthrop, MA

I ended up with my daughters old Montero sport, missing a flare extension, several scratches, a large dent and rip in the front bumper. I did not want to try for a sales looking like that, I bought a new finished flare extension, pulled the dent, epoxied any rips or tears, sanded scuffs, filled pulled dent. I was going to paint all the trim with a cheap black paint just to sell the car but I saw your paint and guarantee to match online. I figured what the heck, why not, easier than masking and painting trim all around. The color matched perfectly, not only to the new finished flare extension but to all of the old trim. a couple coats was good, then clear coated, even touched up some spots I didn't plan on doing. I am giving it plenty of time before a buff and wax and have decided to keep the car.

DS, owner of a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport from Oceanside, Ca

I ordered two spray cans(color matched) and 2 clear coat cans, plus a few odds and ends. (tack cloths, final wipes) To my amazement all of the product are excellent and it matched perfect. I did a small repair to the flares on my 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and it looks factory. I just kept telling myself be patient and do thin coats. We all know what happens when you rush any kind of paint work so I put several coats of clear and took it slow. Will use this product again!
