Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Mitsubishi Starion is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Frank D, owner of a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant from Walton Hills, OH

Worked out nicely. I recommend using a compressor and dialing the air control down to the recommended setting. I didn't have this option unfortunately. Paint goes on thin. You must do at least three or four coats. It's hard to mess it up if you maintain even coats. The paint was an exact match. Of course it is darker on older cars that have since faded, but you can blend it in and nobody can tell the difference. Clear coat when on nicely. Saved a boatload of money covering up rusty spots on the car.

Brandon M, owner of a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse from Elkton, Va

I ordered the spray can and clear for my eclipse. Color matches perfectly. I will definitely order again. Thanks
