Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2010 Nissan Z is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Wayne R, owner of a 2009 Nissan 370Z from Agoura Hills, CA

You have a very good product. The color was spot on, however, the clear coat started to run, causing major problems. Now, I'm not a pro, but some instructions with pictures on them would have helped. The dent and damage looks better than it did, but it's a shiny metallic grey and shows up every imperfection. I put the blame on my inexperience, however, I did follow every U-Tube and search engine question to the letter, but still have mistakes that have to be fixed.

I learned a lot about what not to do next time I get a dent in my car, regarding painting it. The color was slightly darker than the original. I didn't sand the "Bondo" smooth enough and applied way too much clearcoat, which I had to fix with wet sanding and rubbing compound. You have a pretty good product, I just wish I had purchased more paint and knew what I was doing.
