I painted the upper surface of 1999 Alero spoiler with paint code 512F. I prepped by sanding old clear coat off with scotchbright. Then painted 5 or 6 light coats of base color, followed by 5 or 6 coats of clear coat. The finished job does not match perfectly, it is a bit lighter and leans more towards gold. Overall I'm satisfied with the paint, as it's a tough color to match perfectly.

I am happy with your paint it matched almost exactly but I was matching paint that is 16 years old and has faded. So all and all it turned out really well and the lacquer went on really well even though it was from a spray can. I did 2 coats on the outside of the fender with the paint and 4 coats with the clear coat.
