To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1995 Pontiac Torrent is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Bernie R, owner of a 1996 Pontiac Firebird from Houston, TX

I found Automotive Touchup about three years ago, when I started my 1996 Firebird project. I've ordered small sets of the primer, basecoat for my car color/year, and clearcoat. I also added some accessories, such as the taping with plastic fil attached and a variety of abrasives. I can't say enough about the quality of the products, the helpful how-to info on the site, and their customer care. I started out expecting to do jusr some band-aiding spot fixes when the original paint or clearcoat had failed. I've moved on to doing complete panels. The basecoat has been a perfect match each time -- I've been doing a panel every couple of months when the weather conditions (temp & humidity) cooperate. The best part about the basecoat and the clearcoat is the design of the tip. I was leery about an aerosol can paint job meant to hold me over until I finally would break down and spend $$$ on a shop job. The last panel I painted, the roof behind the T-top, turned out so good, I'm afraid to compound and polish it down further. Customer service, even for a small order guy like me, has been first class. After several orders over the years, I ran into my first problem, two dribbling/sputtering cans of basecoat. I was able to find a way to use 1 1/2 cans without messing up the work,. When I reported the issue, a replacement can was on its way immediately. All in all, it may be several --many? -- years before I replace my Automotive Touchup paint job. It's a real source of pride. I may have to go back, order more, and redo the job on my first 1-2 'learner' panels.

Ronald R, owner of a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville from Melbourne, FL

Thanks for the great match! Can't even tell where the old paint meets the new paint. Fantastic job! Only thing I should have bought also was the clear coat. I think it would have been better than store bought.
