Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1965 Porsche (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Allan C, owner of a 1965 Porsche from Mooresville, NC

Good product. Help maintain the factory color of my vehicle while doing some minor rust repair.

Robert Y, owner of a 1965 Porsche from Fullerton, CA

Automotive touchup found the 55 plus year old paint and matched it to the paint number listed on my vehicle. Received in about a week even though it had to ship all the way to California. Great customer service on my order.

Carl P, owner of a 1965 Porsche from Gilroy, CA

I'm having trouble with color match. I'm checking with other restorers and paint companies to confirm my belief, so it remains an one question. I am using ATU paints to paint out a body part to best determine what the final color of my car should be. I can't make it with the small paint chips and buying cans of paint is about one fifth the cost of asking for a quart of test pant. The other important thing to say about the spray can is that the paint lays down as though a good spray gun was being used. It's amazing how well a simple-seeming rattle can atomize.
