Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1987 Porsche (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Stephen G, owner of a 1987 Porsche from Indian Land, SC

Color matched great even to 30 year old paint. The primer was also great at spraying down even and smooth. Many people think you can’t get good results from a rattle can, but the preparation and technique are important to results, but its also important with the nozzle of the spray can also makes a difference. I’ve had cans sputter and throw ‘bubbles’ at the panel. Only feedback I’d give is that Porsche used the guards red color for several years earlier than 1995 but in order to get the paint code i had to select 1995 Porsche all models. My car is a 1987 Porsche 944 and it has the paint code on the factory sticker that I used to buy the paint.

Pat C, owner of a 1987 Porsche from Jackson, MS

The paint was a perfect match, easy to use, and shipping was very timely. Highly recommend this product!

Craig S, owner of a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera from Annapolis, MD
