Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2000 Porsche Boxster S is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

ErnBu, owner of a 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo from Arizona

Have to say I was beyond pleased with the paint and clear coat sprays. The color match was on target. Will definitely buy from you again on other projects.

CJ, owner of a 2001 Porsche Boxster from Florida

Although the paint appears to match my older (2001) vehicle's original paint, the performance of the applicator pen leaves a lot to be desired. When attempting to start the paint flow, if the pen is not exactly vertical when the tip is pressed in, paint drips from the side of the pen onto anything that you don't want paint to drip on. The workaround was to only hold the pen vertical and not try to apply the touch-up paint on surfaces that were not horizontal. Also, had to use a small brush to apply paint to those vertical surfaces that the pen could not.
