Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2002 Saab (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

The Pen Stick were easy to use and the Touchup paint color was exact, thank you

Steven N, owner of a 2002 Saab 9-5 from Denver, CO

While I have yet to use the most recently delivered items, I am a repeat customer who trusts 100% in the quality of products made by Automotive Touchup. Of greater importance at this point in time: I recently read that AT retooled so they could produce hand sanitizer for those on the front line of the novel coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. Amazing! Beautiful! Humbling. . . Actions such as these speak volumes about a company's understanding of what it means to serve, and the ethics underpinning the purpose. Thank you for being the role model from whom many will hopefully learn.

Fourth color I've ordered, I always get a 'kit' of different paints (spray, small bottle, pen). That way I'm ready for anything! Have used white on my 2016 F250, TiAg on my BMW 335i, Champagne on my Mercedes and Smoke Metallic on my Saab 9-5. Best quality and color match by far. I don't think you could get better paint from your car's assembly line. Only complaint is that sometimes with the Saab a dark color seems to separate out in the bottle and form a layer on the top. When the brush is pulled thru this layer a small amount of 'black' gets on the brush and transfers to the car. I can avoid it by dabbing brush on cardboard first.
