Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1988 Suzuki Gypsy is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ivan W, owner of a 1987 Suzuki from Aurora, OR

I've used this product on a Samurai build that started with a motor swap but has turned into something more. I've painted it in sections as I progress and eventually the whole Sammy will be done. I actually used this product about two years ago, same vehicle. I painted the windshield frame inside and out. Drove the vehicle many miles and the durability of a rattle can paint amazed me. I did then as I am now prepping, primering, base coat and finally sealing as per instructions. The finish looks very nice for a rattle can paint in fact the average person wouldn't even know it was unless told. I couldn't be happier. I did have one issue with my last order which included 5 cans of primer, base coat and seal. I absolutely understand these are weird times but this order took a long time to get to my front door. I tried to email but no reply then left a message after calling and no answer. I was just looking to see if they were even open or if I could expect a loooong delay on my shipment. Somebody had to be looking at emails......I'm guessing. A few days after I left my message I received an email about my order being shipped. I'll be ordering again soon and I'll give them more lead time. Overall very happy with the product! [ATU Note: COVID-19 has caused big delays due to self quarantining of employees because they had some symptoms, or because they were in a risk group that gave them a rational fear of returning to work. I'm sorry you were caught up in our delay and that you didn't receive a return email in a timely fashion.]
