Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Brett M, owner of a 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser from Tahoma, CA

Great color match! Repairs came out very well! Very happy!!

John D, owner of a 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser from Sacramento, CA

I needed to touch up some damage on the hood of my 25 year old Land Cruiser. Your paint was a perfect match. The areas were too small for the aerosol can so I used my airbrush and it worked great. Thanks, John

William N, owner of a 1993 Toyota Truck from Luray, VA

I am the original owner of this pickup. I sold it to my brother-in-law in 1996. He used it as a second vehicle so twenty-one years later it is still in really good shape and has less than 100,000 miles on it. It had a few minor dents in it and it did need a paint job. We had it estimated at two different places and it ended up that it was going to be around $3,500.00. The vehicle is not worth spending that kind of money on it so I offered to paint it. The dents were easy and I spent quite a bit of time prepping. Skip helped me out with the paint and we have about $500.00 in it. This job turned out so well it is almost comical. Yes I painted a truck in the garage with aerosol paint cans, base coat, clear coat. After I let the paint dry for a month I wet sanded it with 2000 grit paper and did some light buffing. As soon as it warms up I will finish the buffing and put some wax on it. Everybody who has looked at this can not believe it was painted with aerosol cans. Yes I did spent a lot of time prepping but it is one of those projects that I get a lot of compliments on. No drips, no runs, no errors.
