So far I'm pretty much pleased with the paint products. I'd say with my large order I had, it came in a timely manner.
The color match for the base coat was spot on I only had one can give me splotches while spraying. So it says to clean nozzle in between coats so lesson learned.
I've used 3 cans of the base coat out of the 6 I purchased. I'm doing the roof of my truck first for getting the experience.
The 2K clear is an awesome product. Goes on very smooth and I laid it down heavy.
The hood is next when I get time. I'm sure it will go well with your great products. The rest of my 19 y/o paint is still in outstanding condition. Color 3K4 pearl red.
I only have one question. Is it ok to spray on the clear after the base coat has set up several weeks? I've painted some small sections and I don't want to break open the clear until the next big job. [ATU Note: It's best to clearcoat the basecoat within a 7 day window. If you go beyond 7 days, scuff sand the basecoat, apply another layer of basecoat, then clearcoat.]

The paint color and quality are excellent, but I had an issue with the paint "spitting" while I was spraying. It was like their was too much paint coming out of the can which caused dripping and some splatter. I used 2 cans of Platinum Metallic 1A0 and 1 can of clear coat in which it happened on all 3 cans. Overall, I am happy with the results, especially with the color match.

Paint was lighter than color of my truck, but it was close enough to use. One gripe is it took over 2 weeks to get it. I had to call to even verify it was on its way to me as I didn't hear a word from company. Note an email that it shipped, a tracking number, nothing. It is good paint. The only thing I can say is since it is 15 years old, the paint on the truck has faded. If there was some way to factor in the fading to make it a little lighter in color, it would match a little better. Looks kind of dark.

I ordered the touch up paint for my 2000 Toyota Tundra. I live in Vermont we have pretty nasty winters and our road crews apply liberal amounts of salt & brine to keep the roads clean. While the salt works well on the road it really damages the vehicles. My truck was rusting pretty badly around the back wheel wells and it required some body work (new metal & tiger hair). I was able to repair the body but was striking out on matching the original paint until I found your Web site. I ordered a spray can of the matching paint and a can of clear coat and the results were amazing. I am very happy with finish and have received several positive comments. For a do it yourself project everything matched well and I would not hesitate to use Automotive Touchup for future projects. Thank you.
