Using the pen for touch up of road chip damage and a cover couple places someone keyed my car, it appears to be a good color match slightly darker but not noticeable unless looking for the repaired spots. I have no body or paint experience, so I will probably have someone that has experience do the finish sanding and clear coat application to get it to look original.

Let's make a long story short. On my initial order I ordered one 12 ounce can of Absolutely Red paint for my beautiful (except for the good size dent and scratch on the passenger door) 2004 Toyota Solara convertible. Unfortunately, one can was not enough. The original order took about 10 days to arrive which was fine because of the custom paint color. I ordered another can of paint online on Sunday and on first thing Monday morning I called Microfinish to make sure they had received my order. I spoke to Lisa and she informed me that because of the custom color it would take the same amount of time as the first order. She then added that she would see what she could do about rushing the order but she could not make any promises. This conversation took place on a Monday morning and I received my paint midday on Wednesday. In my opinion, Lisa went above and beyond the normal customer service to make sure that I would remain a very satisfied customer. Thank you Lisa.

Service, price, delivery and color match were great. I would have liked it if they had a video about repairing a large scratch. What I did turned out OK, but it wasn't until I had got into starting the job that I learned it was more complicated than I had anticipated (I did not know that after the clearcoat I would have to wet sand the spot with two grades of sandpaper, rubbing compound, polish, etc.) A video explaining all those steps would have been helpful. I still think this is a great company. It just takes some experience to learn the little ins and outs of doing these types of things correctly.

My daughter had a run in with a big KY buck. I ordered a drivers side mirror(to replace the one the deer kept), some spray paint, and clear coat from Automotive touchup. Saved my daughter about $150.
