I am very pleased with your products and how the rear bumper came out on my 4Runner. I took your online advise on what to buy and it worked great EXCEPT I believe if I used 2 cans of topcoat instead of the 1 that was recommended the final job would have been closer to the factory finish.

Time will tell but the Automotive touchup seems to be much closer to a factory finish and protective layer than the auto store pens.

Color was close, but guidance on not masking adjacent areas would have helped to prevent sharp transitions between old and new. It took a second pass to redo and blend areas.

Overall, I'm happy with the results of the project. The finished repair is very hard to discern from the rest of the vehicle unless you know there was a problem with the rear gate. The paint color matched perfectly to the OEM color. After sanding and compounding, the repair is a near perfect match. If being critical, the paint and clear coat spray a little thin. It took about 4 coats of paint and the entire can of clear coat to cover and blend in the repair. The clear coat sprayed dry or dusty rather than a good cover - sanding and compounding worked this out. This may just be a factor of the paint (not the same type formula as regular spray paint). [ATU Note: Ourclearcoat was designed to be sprayed wet, so it needs heavier/wetter coats.]
