I feel the pens are to wide and tough for small scratches, so its very difficult to apply and leave a smooth paint cover.

Took a rock on the front of my brand new Toyota Tundra. Color matched perfectly. Since it was dark gray I was worried you might still be able to see it but even I can't tell where the chip was unless I look very close.
