Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2012 Volkswagen C-Trek is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Perfect color match on an 11 year old car! The cans are something else. They have a perfect pattern with no drips or blobs of paint coming out of the nozzle. This product is number ONE!

Finally, I got a chance to finish touching up my car with spray paint I received couple weeks ago. Here in Chicago, the temperatures are dropping fast and I needed above 50 degrees for the day so that I can accomplish my work. The color for my VW matches up 100% to my car 's specifications. I had to sand lightly with 600 grit wet sand the small area on the driver's side on the side of back door and then taped up plastic bumper and applied a very light coat and then 2 more coats. Finally, sprayed clear coat and waxed. I'm quite happy with this spray can and overall the way my entire project came out with. I would strongly recommend it.
