Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2016 Volkswagen Tharu is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Christopher V, owner of a 2016 Volkswagen Beetle from Vacaville, CA

I got great results with the brush in-bottle kit. I put just enough color in the chip to hide the primer, then filled the chip with three coats of clear. I then color-sanded the repair flat, progressing from 1000- to 2000-grit paper on a block. After compounding with a random-orbital polisher, the repair looks very good. Super fast delivery on the product as well. I will definitely use Automotive Touchup again.

Harold W, owner of a 2016 Volkswagen Beetle from Pine Mountain, GA

Nice results. Probably as close as a non-pro can get to professional results. Just have a little patience, follow the directions, and you should be happy with the way it turns out.
