Sprayable Auto Clear Coat for OEM-Quality Results

Once you've fixed up your vehicle's paint job with our precision-matched automotive paint, you'll need to add a high-quality clear coat to protect it and restore that showroom shine. We sell auto clear coat for cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans in a variety of quantities and container types, just like our paints, and that includes sprayable auto clear coat for use with spray guns. Our sprayable clear coat comes in two types: urethane and acrylic lacquer. Either can be a great choice based on the needs of your repair job.

  • Urethane clear coat is a two-component automotive clear coat, which means that you'll need to mix together two parts, a base and an activator or catalyst, before spraying on the clear coat. The resulting product is an automotive clear coat paint that is more flexible, is chemical-resistant, has better gloss, and will last much longer than lacquer automotive clear coat. However, note that once the two parts are mixed together, the urethane automotive clear coat cannot be reused later.
  • Lacquer clear coat is the simpler of the two automotive OEM clear coats. Acrylic lacquer is much easier to apply and is an "air dry" clear. It's ready to spray right from the can, and it's easy to buff and extremely quick-drying. You also don't need to use it all at one time, like you do with urethane two-component automotive clear coat. Check out our ready-to-spray automotive paint directions for more information on how to use this automotive paint and clear coat to achieve a flawless finish.

Whether you prefer acrylic lacquer or urethane sprayable auto clear coat, our high-quality products can help you to restore your vehicle's factory finish. Just don't forget to wear a respirator: It's required for safety with either of these products.
